Complaints Handling
On the 25th of April 2023, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued Memorandum Circular No. 5 Series of 2023. In this circular, the SEC Rules and Regulations of the Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act of 2022 were outlined for compliance by all financial service providers such as Global Dominion Financing, Inc. (GDFI).
This shall serve as notice that Global Dominion ensures that appropriate mechanisms are in place to protect the interest of its consumers (the “Borrowers”) of financial products and services under the conditions of transparency, fair and sound market conduct, and fair, reasonable, and effective handling of financial consumer disputes, which are aligned with global best practices. These mechanisms reinforce the financial consumers’ confidence in the financial market and foster the stability of the Philippine financial system.

Consumer complaints filed with Global Dominion may cover any of the following:
- Liability for Loan and Financing Products
- Deceptive Sales Acts/Practices
- Misleading Advertisement and Fraudulent Sales Promotion Practices
- Abusive collection or debt recovery practices.
