GDFI Celebrates Family Day and Sports Fest with the entire Asialink Group of Companies

Last month the entire Asialink Group of Companies gathered to celebrate a momentous event which happens only every two years for the whole organization – The Asialink Group of Companies Family Day and Sports Fest!

Joined by few of the biggest financial and non-financial companies in the Philippines including:

  • and of course, Global Dominion Financing Inc. (GDFI).

 

The programs were definitely made more exciting by different events and competitions, and the participation of the group of companies’ employees.

It started with the Family Day in the morning, when kids dearly enjoyed different games and magic shows, and of course the playground set by the team inside Ynares Sports Arena. Families wearing different color of shirts to identify which particular company they are from enjoyed the gimmicks and booths with freebies and lots of prizes for participating children and adults. It was certainly one of the ways the organization shows its care for the employees and their families. At the end of the day, we all intend to touch more and more lives, including of course, those of our own members and their relatives.

In the afternoon was when most of the sports activity was held. Different sports competition where joined by the representatives from all companies within the group, and in the end, only the best won! Though the preliminaries were held before the event date, the finals and the awarding definitely transpired during the event.

Winner – Ms. Sports Fest
4th Place – Basketball
3rd Place – Volleyball
3rd Place – Hip Hop Dance Competition
3rd Runner Up – Mr. Sports Fest

In his opening remarks, Asialink Group of Companies’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Jordan Jr. congratulated each company and team for their successes in different fields and battles in an effort to help more people. He also emphasized the need to grow bigger and brighter as the competition gets tougher and the market’s need for our products and services gets stronger.

“Needless to say, having fun together and caring for our employees and their families, are part of our organization’s priorities. I believe that we all can become more proactive and productive when we’re healthy, happy and loved. And what can be a better source of happiness and love than our families?” GDFI General Manager Patricia Poco-Palacios stated. Patricia actively participated in the event with her family, and supported the representatives of the team. “These activities also allow us to practice integrity and excellence, as the competition with our affiliates brings out the best in us,” Palacios added.
