With initiatives such as Suporta Eskwela Clubs, Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Children and Women can develop their skills while experiencing the support system that they deserve.
AHA leads a wide selection of programs to support students in their Academics, Social-Emotional Learning, and Support Systems Skills.
On October 18, 2024, with the help of Mr. Ariel Dizon, GDFI Sales & Marketing Head, who hosted the event, the first of four workshops came to fruition, covering topics such as the 50/30/20 rule, building emergency funds, and creating extra income.
The discussion and presentation were full of life and fun from the beginning – from the dance breaks to the presentations, especially to the Q&A where in which the participants were able to engage on how their finances are working and how should they deal with it going forward while including the knowledge that they have accumulated all throughout the presentation.
The “kumares” were able to have an open conversation with GDFI members for their tips and tricks on how to manage their personal finances. The discussion was able to help address common money problems within the household with one of the mothers saying “Mas madali palang mag budget pagnakikita mo kung saan napupunta ang pera mo”. After the Q&A and Presentation proper. The participants and AHA Learning Center were also able to receive Early Christmas Gifts from Global Dominion.
