Global Dominion Employee Feature – Maribel Macasinag

One of the current branch managers of Global Dominion, Maribel Macasinag started as a part-time telemarketer in 2016. Just months after joining, she was awarded the Best Agent by Global Dominion’s then-partner, Loansolutions. A year after becoming a full-time employee, Macasinag was recognized as the top telemarketer in the Company, until she got promoted to the sales coach position in 2019. Just months before the heartbreaking series of community quarantine measures, she became the first marketing associate for the supposed first telemarketing kiosk in Bacoor. At the height of the pandemic, she became one of the first collections associates internal to Global Dominion. In 2021, Macasinag became the first collection specialist before moving to the sales and marketing department as a branch manager in Santiago, Isabela.

When she started, she hadn’t finished her college education yet. But that changed along the way. With the help and encouragement of her supervisor, she finished her degree while working and then earned her Bachelor of Arts Major in English at Arellano University Manila. This double victory happened in 2022—the year when businesses started climbing back to recovery.

Despite all the challenges she faced, she never gave up, and she did her best to obtain what she believed she deserved, no matter how long it took her. To Maribel, “It is only impossible if you do not believe you can do it.”
