San Beda University is founded by Benedictine monks in 1901 and was initially intended as an all-boys school. Offering bachelor degrees in Business, Accounting, Marketing, and Economics, among others, as well as having their own School of Law, matriculation fees in San Beda range from PHP 145,000 to PHP 155,000 annually.
Ateneo de Manila University
Established in 1859 by Jesuits, Ateneo de Manila University id the third-oldest school in the Philippines. It offers degrees in multiple fields of study, and it’s home to one of the oldest private research institutes in the country. Going there doesn’t come cheap, however, with tuition fees ranging from PHP 160,000 to PHP 180,000 per year, depending on the course you wish to take.
University of Asia and the Pacific
The University of Asia and the Pacific was initially established as a center of research and communication, a think-tank that offers prospective graduate students courses in economics as well as opportunities to conduct economic and social research. Presently, it offers bachelor degrees in Applied Mathematics, Human Capital Development, and Industrial Economics, among others. Tuition fees fall between PHP 180,000 to PHP 190,000 per semester at a maximum of 23 units.
De La Salle College of Saint Benilde
De La Salle College of Saint Benilde was formerly the College of Career Development of De La Salle University. The college’s academic programs include Hotel and Restaurant Management, Design and Arts, Information Technologies, and Multidisciplinary Studies. And each school year is divided into three trimesters, with each term costing around PHP 60,000 to PHP 80,000 (that’s approximately PHP 180,000 – PHP 240,000 annually).
De La Salle University
Since it first started taking in prospective students in 1911, DLSU has been identified by CHED as a center of excellence. Offering degrees in Education, Engineering, Business, Communication, Technologies, Economics, and many more, the average tuition you must pay for each trimester costs around PHP 60,000 to PHP 70,000. That’s around PHP 205,000 to PHP 225,000 per year.
