Running Toward Possibilities: A Personal Journey That Reflects Our Mission

I joined the Haier Run for Future Possibilities 2025, and I’m proud to say I finished the 10K! It was challenging, but the energy, the people, and the purpose behind it made every step worth it.

To be honest, the first 5 kilometers were tough. Every step felt heavy, and there were moments I questioned if I could go on. But something shifted. I reminded myself: this run was about more than just finishing. It was about doing something that mattered. That thought kept me moving.

Crossing the finish line wasn’t just about endurance. When they placed that medal around my neck, it meant more than just “I made it.” It hit me deeply: every kilometer we ran was for Filipino children, their education, their well-being, their future. That medal wasn’t just mine. It belonged to every kid whose life might be changed because people chose to run and give back.

This was only the second year of the Haier Run, but it’s already doing incredible things. Beyond promoting physical fitness, it supports Haier Philippines’ advocacy for youth development through education and wellness programs. Running with that kind of purpose just hits differently.

What made the experience even more personal for me is that I work at Global Dominion., a company that shares the same mission of empowering Filipino lives.

At Global Dominion, we’re not just about financing. We equip people with the knowledge and opportunities to build better futures. From our financial literacy workshops with AHA Learning Center, to our partnership with PUP for employment programs, and especially through the inspiring #PwedePala stories we hear from clients stories of overcoming, of thriving we see firsthand how far hope and support can go.

So while I was running, I couldn’t help but feel proud. Not just as a participant in the race, but as someone who works for a company that walks the talk. Whether through running or financial education, it’s all about creating future possibilities.

I ran 10K that day, but I walked away with something even bigger: a renewed belief that when businesses lead with heart, real change happens.

For the dreamers. For the kids. For the people proving that yes, #PwedePala—it can be done.

The real journey is just beginning and I’ll keep showing up on the track, in the office, and in life because the future is something we build, one step at a time.
