In line with the organization’s support to and showcasing of its value ‘innovation’ – participating in occasions and events promoting the use and value of technology and the latest breakthroughs in various business industries in the Philippines, most especially the world of Finance – is just one of its first steps. GDFI has definitely got a long way to go, and it is certainly not stopping anytime soon.
PLDT TechTalk – Less Talk, MoreTech
Global Dominion Financing Inc. attended the recent PLDT TechTalk event in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, through its representative – its Head of IT Department, Czar Castillo. The program focused on the latest network and security technology that would allow businesses to grow and expand faster and in more efficient and secured manner.
“From the most basic technology that maximizes our operation’s efficiency, up to the most advanced innovation in the market today, expect that Global Dominion will exhaust all means it could possibly take for optimized products and services delivery for our customers, our borrowers,” Czar Castillo said.
Inquirer Academy: Effective Video Production
A good number of members of GDFI’s Business Development team has participated in the most recent “Effective Video Production” training via the Inquirer Academy. The trainer, Glen John Labasug, shared his knowledge and experiences which are pertinent to the team’s growth plans for its ad material production, especially in the realm of digital marketing. This wasn’t the first time the team has participated in similar a similar session though, as it has attended last year’s Social Media Analytics training as well, facilitated by Wence Wenceslao, also in Inquirer Academy premises.
“Innovation has no limit, and has no end. Even the best practices can and shall be improved,” GDFI’s Business Development Officer Aian Guanzon stated.
The Innovation Council – Formation
March, being Global Dominion’s Innovation month, is when its Innovation Council was formed. It’s comprised of leaders from different departments with varying tenure, who are all eager to bring about change in the company, to support its action plans towards growth and expansion. While it is no secret that the institution has been growing at a remarkable rate, it is also key that the leaders and all of its members do not stop in looking for opportunities to improve and remain passionately competitive in all areas which would contribute to its growth. The council is going to look into the seven Ps of the organization which includes Product, Policy, Process, People, Performance, Promotion, and Partnership.
The members of the council are Maan Unidad, Lea Yap, Jaja Cave, Aian Guanzon, Rod Matinong, Miks Nieves, and Beth Carte.
