Global Dominion Financing Inc. (GDFI) recently partnered with UnionBank for the digital transformation of its collection and payroll requirements. With this partnership, GDFI was able to enroll its payroll accounts online via UnionBank’s Employee Digital Account Opening (EDAO) on real time basis – no need to wait for manual batching. As of September 19, 2022, UB has onboarded 564 GDFI payroll accounts.

“We credit our success not only to the soundness of our strategies but to our hardworking talent, as well. For us, it is only reasonable to partner with reliable, tech-driven and innovative institutions, like UnionBank,” GDFI President and COO Patricia Poco-Palacios states.

GDFI also started utilizing UB’s UPAY. UPAY is a platform that consolidates several payment methods and provides a single integration point for customers’ collections needs. It accepts the most common modes of payments like bank transfers, popular e-wallets and also collects payments from other local banks.

“UnionBank always looks forward to forging partnerships with companies, such as GDFI, which help Filipinos fulfill their goals and aspirations – whether business or personal. These partnerships contribute to our collective goal of financial inclusion.,” shares Union Bank of the Philippines Commercial Banking Center Head Roberto Abastillas.
